Indian Startup KuhlTherm Lands $1.1 Mn to Power AI Data Centres with Liquid Cooling

Ahmedabad-based KuhlTherm, a precision liquid cooling startup, has raised US$1.1 million in a seed funding round.

SUMMARY

  • KuhlTherm raised US$1.1M in seed funding led by Arkam Ventures.
  • The startup develops liquid cooling solutions for AI data centres.
  • KuhlTherm aims to make AI infrastructure more efficient and sustainable.

The funding round was led by Arkam Ventures.

The company will use the new funding to develop its products, expand its research and engineering teams, secure certifications and build strategic partnerships as it prepares to grow its cooling solutions globally.

“AI infrastructure is pushing data centres beyond the limits of conventional air cooling,” said founder and CEO Shailesh Bishnoi. “KuhlTherm is building advanced, modular and intelligent cooling systems that allow operators to scale high-performance compute infrastructure more efficiently, reliably and sustainably.”

Rahul Chandra, managing director at Arkam Ventures, said AI infrastructure growth is increasing pressure on energy and water resources, creating demand for more efficient cooling technologies. “KuhlTherm is addressing this critical infrastructure gap with cutting-edge IP, India-led engineering and a product roadmap for high-density data centre environments,” he said.

Founded in 2025, KuhlTherm develops precision liquid cooling systems for AI data centres, hyperscale facilities, and other high-performance computing environments.

Its products include direct-to-chip cooling, rear door heat exchangers, immersion cooling systems, coolant distribution units, and NexusFlow OS, the company's own cooling management platform.

These technologies are designed to handle the high heat produced by AI and GPU-powered computing, where traditional air cooling is no longer efficient.

KuhlTherm manufactures many of its key components in-house and is also developing its own advanced liquid cooling technologies.

The company says its cooling solutions are designed for Indian operating conditions, helping data centre operators achieve faster deployment, easier maintenance, and lower operating costs.

Along with serving the Indian market, KuhlTherm also plans to expand into global AI infrastructure markets.
