Singtel RE:AI and WEKA Team Up to Build AI Infrastructure Across ASEAN

The partnership aims to create a strong AI foundation that will help governments and businesses adopt AI more easily. It will focus on supporting critical sectors by providing secure and reliable AI infrastructure.

The collaboration brings together Singtel’s sovereign AI cloud platform, Paragon network orchestration technology and managed services with WEKA’s NeuralMesh storage platform. This combination is designed to improve the performance and efficiency of AI systems.

WEKA’s NeuralMesh helps ensure that GPUs always have access to the data they need. By reducing storage-related delays and keeping GPUs working efficiently organisations can run AI workloads faster, improve productivity, and accelerate innovation while maintaining control over their data.

Singtel will also use NeuralMesh as the data foundation for its GPU-as-a-Service offering through its Centre of Excellence for Applied AI. This will give governments and enterprises a powerful platform to build, test, deploy, and scale AI applications more quickly, efficiently, and securely.

As part of the partnership, Singtel and WEKA will provide a managed service called the Sovereign AI Factory to governments and businesses across Singapore and the ASEAN region. The service will help organisations build and use AI solutions securely while keeping control of their data.

The platform can support a wide range of applications, including digital government services, financial risk analysis, healthcare diagnostics, public safety systems and smarter transportation and utility operations.
