Traveloka Partners With ETG to Expand Global Hotel Supply

Under the agreement, Traveloka will access ETG’s hotel inventory across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and the United States through the RateHawk application programming interface (API). In return, ETG will gain access to Traveloka’s accommodation inventory across Southeast Asian markets.

Partnership to Expand Hotel Choices

ETG operates travel technology brands, including RateHawk, ZenHotels, and Roundtrip. Through RateHawk’s API, Traveloka will be able to offer a wider selection of hotels and accommodation options to its customers.

According to ETG, its inventory includes accommodation sourced from more than 350 wholesalers and 250,000 directly connected properties. This network is expected to support Traveloka’s international expansion by improving access to accommodation across key global destinations.

Erik Akhmetgaliev, Regional Director APAC at RateHawk, said the partnership would support Traveloka’s outbound growth and strengthen ETG’s presence in Asia. He added that demand for ETG’s accommodation inventory across the region continues to grow.

ETG to Access Southeast Asian Accommodation

The partnership will also give ETG access to Traveloka’s accommodation supply across Southeast Asia, particularly in markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Nikita Elagin, Managing Director of the Consolidator Business Unit at ETG, said these markets are among the frequently booked destinations across the group’s platforms. He noted that combining the two companies’ inventories would help expand accommodation choices and provide competitive rates for customers.

Traveloka’s International Expansion

The agreement builds on Traveloka’s efforts to expand its international accommodation network. The company has previously partnered with Marriott International to bring more hotel brands to travellers in Southeast Asia and with HBX Group to expand accommodation supply across the Asia-Pacific region.

ETG has also expanded its distribution network through partnerships with other travel platforms, including Agoda.
