Ultraviolette Raises $85 Million to Scale EV Production and Global Expansion

Ultraviolette has raised $85 million in a fresh funding round led by Yali Capital and TDK Ventures, with participation from Lip-Bu Tan and its existing investors. The Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup will use the capital to scale EV production, develop next-generation electric vehicle platforms and expand into international markets.

Funding Details
Ultraviolette raised $85 million in the latest funding round. The round was led by deep-tech investor Yali Capital and TDK Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Lip-Bu Tan, Chairman of Walden International and an advisor to Ultraviolette, along with the company’s existing and long-term investors.
Before this round, Ultraviolette had raised $66 million in its ongoing Series E round from TDK Ventures, Zoho Corporation and Lingotto.
With the latest investment, the company’s disclosed funding has reached $151 million since August 2025.
