
Zhuhai Amicro Technology, a Xiaomi-backed robotics chipmaker, is preparing for a Hong Kong IPO that could raise more than US$100 million.
The company has cleared the listing hearing and may begin premarketing as early as this week, according to people familiar with the matter.
Amicro Clears Hong Kong Listing Hearing
Amicro passed its listing hearing with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) last week, clearing a key regulatory step for its planned share sale.
The company had also received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission in August to issue up to 90.9 million shares.

However, its public listing document had not been released on HKEX's records, so financial details were not yet available.
The IPO timetable and size could still change as the listing process continues.
When Could Amicro List?
Amicro could begin bookbuilding as soon as next week and is targeting a trading debut in mid-October, according to the sources.
The company is expected to start premarketing as early as this week as it prepares for the proposed offering.
What Does Amicro Do?
Founded in 2014, Amicro develops chips, hardware platforms and algorithms for robotics applications. The company was formerly known as Amicro Semiconductor before changing its name in 2025.
Its technology is used in household and commercial cleaning robots. Customers include Xiaomi and Midea Group, and the company has shipped more than 10 million units cumulatively.
Xiaomi-Backed Robotics Chipmaker
Amicro has completed several funding rounds ahead of its planned IPO, attracting institutional investors including an investment arm of Xiaomi.
The company is headquartered in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. It is also the first company nurtured in the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin to receive national “little giant” status.
The designation from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recognises specialised and innovative small and medium sized companies focused on niche markets and core technologies.
