Prosus’s fintech and payments division PayU contributed $5 million to the seed round of funding for BRISKPE, a platform for cross-border payments. According to a press release from the company, the funds will be utilised to support talent acquisition, product development, and business expansion.
BRISKPE, under the direction of Sanjay Tripathy, is primarily intended to address the particular needs of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. These companies can cut expenses, improve international operations, and become more globally competitive thanks to its solution.

This payments Startup,says it serves over a thousand exporters. Its goal is to streamline international payments so they are easy, quick, and affordable while maintaining strong tracking and compliance.
Modern businesses like Payglocal, EximPe, Instarem, Salt, and Skydo want to upend the cross-border payments market by lowering the cost of doing business for smaller retailers.

Fintech companies such as Indiagold, Fisdom, and Dot have been backed by PayU, which has in-principle permission from The Reserve Bank of India to function as a payment aggregator.
